  • How does the testing and prescribing program work? →
    * After you click the "Get Started" button you will fill out a questionnaire online. After completing this, present the generated QR code to the pharmacy staff. * Trained pharmacy staff will perform an assessment of your symptoms and determine eligibility. * Trained pharmacy staff will perform up to 3 swabs of your nose or throat. * If positive, the pharmacy staff will fill a prescription right there. No extra stop needed!
  • What is the cost of the test and prescribe service? →
Assessment: $20 A Pharmacist will conduct the required assessment to review symptoms and confirm eligibility before any tests are performed. Strep Throat Test and Treatment: $55 A strep throat test involves a swab of the back of the throat. Common courses of antibiotics are included in this fee, if indicated. Flu/COVID Combo Test: $80 The Flu/COVID Combo test involves collecting a respiratory sample, through a swab taken from the nose or throat. It tests for both Flu and COVID, giving you results for each virus individually. Flu treatment is included in this fee, if indicated. Covid treatment is dependent on insurance coverage or manufacturer assistance. Contact the pharmacist for more info.
  • How long does the consultation take? →
On average, the entire process takes less than an hour. Please allow time for proper evaluation and treatment.
  • Do you take insurance?
We do not provide insurance billing for the test and treatment program. You may be able to submit receipts to your insurer. Contact your insurance company for details.
  • How quickly can I be seen?
We take walk-in appointments until approximately 5PM, but wait times may vary during peak times. Remember that it is critical to get started on treatment as soon as possible because taking the appropriate medication for flu, strep, or COVID-19 early in the course of illness may reduce the severity and duration of symptoms and lessen the risk of serious complications.
  • Are there people who can't receive the test and prescribe service?
People who are pregnant or breastfeeding aren't eligible for the Test and Prescribe program. Children under 6 are not eligible for the program. Children ages 6-11 are able to be tested, but due to CO law, we are unable to prescribe a treatment. (Children ages 12 and older are eligible for all services). Other restrictions may also apply.
  • Will you have to contact my doctor for a prescription?
If you test positive, the pharmacist will be able to prescribe treatment, as long as there are no contraindications.
